I’ve noticed a void in today’s world. No one has a way to go on to the “interweb” and post their thoughts on themes of interest to themselves and others, essentially logging their thoughts in a timely manner for the edification of the over 5,000 (wow!) people who use the “interweb” on a regular basis. Apparently, these people are called “surfers”, but I’m still not sure why. Well, look no further, reader! I have invented a thing of amazing usefulness in filling the aforementioned void. It is a “weblog” and in it, I will document things that come out of my brain or that I find in sources like newspapers, magazines or microfiche at my public library. Heck, I may even “upload” pictures that I enjoy. Also, in the interest of being succinct, I may call this “weblog” a “blog.” So, if you see “blog”, don’t anybody get confused; it’s just another word for my amazing invention, the “weblog”.
Now, I don’t want to be a negative Nancy, but I want to be clear that this was my idea that I thought of all on my own, so if you want to start a “weblog” of your own, you’ll have to pay me money. If you are interested in starting your own, please send me a check or money order for $99.95 to 2651 Hwy 392W, Harrison, AR. Some day, there may be a way to send money using the “interweb”, but we’re not there yet! Upon receipt of payment, I will be happy to share with you the amazing secrets of how to build a “weblog”, which will no doubt catapult many of you to fame and fortune beyond your wildest dreams.
Right now, you’re asking, “What will this guy’s brain think of next?” I sure don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out!
